RAK: mission 3

HEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEHHE
EHEHEHEHEHEHHEEHEHEHEHEHHEEHH

HEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEHHE
EHEHEHEHEHEHHEEHEHEHEHEHHEEHH

HEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEHHE

I know I don't post much now (thank YOU, over-flooding assignments that never stops coming) I swear I'm so tired nowadays I even slept at 9pm last 2 weeks and last week I was so exhausted, I tried taking a nap at 5pm and ended up sleeping till the next morning. NO I DID NOT EVEN WAKE UP FOR ANY INTERVAL BREAKS TO EXCRETE OR TO EAT. See what I mean? I even SKIPPED dinner just to sleep. That's how tired I am these days ugh. I feel like some cranky old woman that has 500 fur balls in her house now wtf.

BUT WHATEVER. I am now back from doing something great around some time ago which I think Paggie and I both spammed a lot about this on Twitter and it still feels great even though before starting our RAK we had horrible dinner but that shall be for the next post for my life is so boring I have to separate a day into two just to make it seem more.... lively. Back to the point!

It's not big but it's not small either, it's not heavy, it's not light, they're hard to handle what are they?

BALLOONS, THEY BLOW!
(this was Paggie's try at being punny with the name of the RAK and my try on making "they blow" seems like it's blowing away which I failed, duuuuuuuuuuuuuh.)

unfabulous background but whatever. Pretty picture credits to Paggie.

Okay so this RAK is really really last minute. Here's the story- on one hot sweaty afternoon Amanda was too bored and suddenly thought of doing something nice. She immediately called Paggie and thought of giving away balloons. Being the chickens that we are and being bimbotic, we don't even know the price of a balloon so we called the shop, Balloon Buzz in One Utama. Before calling, we even had to push and pull and see who's gonna call because that's how chicken we are. End of story hahahaahahahaahahaha.

IMG_9406
AWWW LOOK SO KUIT.

IMG_9409
HAHAHAHAHA UNAMUSED BROTHER IS AUNAMUSED.

IMG_9412
Paggie: Derp.

IMG_9413 Why am I so fat. I sometimes amaze myself too.

IMG_9416 Look I'm know I'm not suppose to have favourites but this girl is like my ultimate favourite that day. Mainly because her mum is so friendly and nice and she is a QT PIE OK.

IMG_9419
The starring is so intense wtf HAHAHAHAH.

IMG_9420
HAHAHAHA THE GIRL SO CUTE RIGHT. WHY COULDN'T I HAVE BANGS WHEN I WAS A KID.

okay lah to be honest half way giving these balloons I got quite pissed off 'cause all the people asked were:
HUH WHAT IS THIS FREE AH? Oh free then I take lah!
How much is it? Free ah? Okay take take!
"Hello there! Do you want one!" No "It's free!" Okay!!

Best part these kids first came to us so we gave them one person each, they then went back to their parents, give their parents the balloons and came back for more. ARE YOU SERIOUS. HOW GREEDY CAN YOU GET. I know I'm suppose to be nice and all but I honestly can't stand these people, you've already got yours- why can you give the other kids a chance to get one too?

IMG_9426
Rant over. OMG QTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

So much happiness I feel like I'm on laughing gas. But better hahahahaahahhaha.

IMG_9445 and that was the last of it! SUPER QT PIE OMG. THESE KIDS ARE JUST SO CUTE I CAN DROWN IN THEIR CUTENESS T_____T

For this mission, I've actually told quite a lot of people about what Paggie and I did and most of them ended up asking us either we're too free or we have too much money to spend and yes, even our closest  friends said that too. Maybe to some people, spending RM3.50 on a balloon and RM87.50 for 25 balloons is a lot or maybe just a waste of money but we came up with the mentality of maybe, just maybe, a balloon may not light up a family's day but what if the little girl or boy was going through a hard time? Who knows? Maybe seeing some kindness from a total stranger would brighten up their day? Maybe the little girl or boy was feeling unwell, who knows that maybe seeing something good in the society could give them hope again?

We're not asking to be on Ellen or anything like those Free the Children movement campaigns or something. We're not asking to be famous, all we ever wanted from doing these Random Acts of Kindness was just a little positiveness and a smile. Those things would be more than enough to make us the happiest people on Earth seeing that we could actually cheer someone up.

So take a minute and think, if you could bright up a person's up with just a small action that may cost you maybe just a little, would you do it? Because I would and I have already done it.

RAK: Mission 2

HI DER GUISE.
HI DER NON-RESISTANT READERS.
HI DER ACTUAL READERS
and most importantly,
HI DER PAGGIE -
sorry for breaking my promise to post on Monday. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH.

Here's the second official  RAK post (sounds legit right.)

ROLLING IN THE DEEP.
geddit geddit, obviously you don't cause you have not read on yet.

So during the Chinese New Year,we (Paggie & I & friends) went to the Taozer's open house/ party/ gathering/ go do nothing but talk and eat thing. Scott being a bad host, naturally- he left us alone wandering around his house. Did I mention his house is freaking huge, like really, really, huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. So huge that you can get lost in it? Yeah, that's how big his house is.

nah proof. Also, special appearance - random uncle's half body wtf.
Not big enough ah? No problem.

if you aren't impressed up till now, you probably live in a mansion wtf.

ANYWAYS!!! So since we had nothing to do, you must probably think we camhoed all the way,

which we did. HAHAHAHA. Added last picture just because my non-existent nose bridge is visible, miracle!!!

But we didn't just camhoed, we came filled with pure kindness and generously!
SO GENEROUS THAT WE BROUGHT --

TISSUE PAPER MADE FROM MONEY.

such a sad, sad lonely roll of untouched tissue paper.

It's okay, you have done your duty. You have served your kind and the toilet well but it is now time for you to go.

I, the money toilet paper,
vow to serve my owner, my kind and my new territory with
pride, confidence, strength and most importantly,
I will serve with my body.
I will sacrifice myself for every wipe.

SORRY IF WE DISAPPOINTED  YOU WITH THIS MISSION OK HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA.

here's some pizza and us jumping on Scott's balcony for YOU.

RAK: Mission 1

Helloderrr. No, I did not just "AIYA TALK BIG ONLY WON'T DO ONE LA" with the Random Act of Kindness operation. This was real, yeah, this was the real deal. (does that sound epic enough for you?)

Anyways, before I continue, you guys should watch this first:

Pretty sure most of you guys know them! This video was made years back by Jayesslee, the pretty Australia-Korean twins. O: We chose this as our first mission mainly because all we needed was a car with a driver in it, money and a note which is like optional!

Just like what they both did, we wrote a note for our "victims" too so they wouldn't think we're some serial killers or something wtf.

picture credits to Paggie and Paggie's surprise appearance hand.

We were on the way to one of our friend's house, picked Paggie up and we headed to McDonalds. We waited for pretty long at the cashier counter guy for the next customer hence,
and.

and

and

so yeah. Hey we waited pretty long for the next customer!!

UNTIL!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, when we saw the car coming we were literally screaming and turning around and jumping and screaming and like hyperventilating in the car. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I sometimes wonder how my mum feels about me. We actually waited pretty long for the ordering part too cause the first car's total was like RM49, if not mistaken. BUT HEY, IF YOU WANT TO BE KIND MUST DO IT ALL THE WAY!!

The nice cashier that we had! When I saw the cashier, I was actually thanking God that we didn't get the mean, short lady cashier which has on super thick eyeliner and pink lipstick until Paggie interrupted and asked me if the cashier was a guy or a girl WTF.

HE'S A GUY. OK. A GUY.

So when we told him that we're actually paying for the next person he was like HUH WHAT REALLY and we were like yeah we no play play one!! and my mum's swift thinking suddenly said we're doing it for Chinese New Year. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH and then she gave the guy an angpao. (Not bribery!!)

This was our second "victim" ! The super nice PED 5986!!

PED 5986's total came up to only RM14! They actually took pretty long to order so Paggie and I were deciding if we should leave if their total would add up to like RM100 HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA. (Be kind also need to be greedy too, hey, we're both still students! T^T ) When he found out that we paid for his family he actually took the paper out and wave at us!! What kind of niceness is this, faith is slowly being restored in the human race! (or at least in Malaysians wtf)

Being the clueless people that we are and having the idea that BSD is freaking huge since after every time running around the area, we'll feel like zombies, we actually bumped into one of our friends! AGAIN, WHAT KIND OF LUCK IS THIS. WTF.

NGAWWWWW C:
HI JIA WEN. I HOPE YOU SEE THIS!!!

and she was so cute she actually posted it again without herself,

and said this: 'Just in case you don't want me in the photo lol' quote Jia Wen
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA SO CUTE RIGHT HAHAHAHAHA.

Anyways, here's to the first RAK Mission, the Drive Thru Difference! Hey, remember to keep looking out because you'll never know when we're coming!!

RAK

"Ugh, why do you post so much pictures and say nothing?"
"Ugh, I want words! Not pictures of you showing your clothes off!!"
"Like oh my God, can you type more?!!?!?!?!?!!"
"Seriously, you're booooooooooring."
"EH YOU THINK YOUR CLOTHES VERY NICE AH?"
"TALK MORE LAH TAKE TAKE TAKE ONLY KNOW HOW TO TAKE PICTURES."

which is probably what everyone thinks of my blog. (hahahahaha fml)

and being the nice person that I usually am (hurhurhur) this wouldn't be an outfit post, it wouldn't be an expired travel diary post, not a post where I put in random pictures as filler and certainly not a rant post, I mean come on, my life is so boring I don't even have anything to rant on hahahahahahahaa.

so on one fine day, while I was talking with Paggie about that one time when we had our second movie marathon and being the smart and lazy people we were, we came up with the plan of buying tickets to Hansel and Gratel, Les Mis and also MAMA all in a go. Our plan was to finish a movie and go straight to the next movie hall, which was really, a perfect crime. Until I got lazy after Les Mis. Again, I am forever lazy and very very very anti-climatic (I was actually just scared that I'll be scared shitless since Joseph Germani tweeted about the movie and that was when I recently moved to a new place but yeah I was lazy too) just so we decided not to waste our tickets and we had extra time so guess what's the next best thing we did.

YES, OKAY, BENAR, BETUL, SHI, HAI, OUI, 예, sí, YEAH AND YUP. We tried selling our tickets.
As you know, Paggie and I are both Malaysians living in Malaysia and being in Malaysia, having the typical Malaysian attitudes, everyone that we asked ignored us. They either walked away or stare and walk away or just pretend we're not there or this:

"pfft, please. I bet you 2 are just trying to play a prank on us. psssfffffft."
After trying awhile, we almost gave up since it was always showtime and also nobody liked us....http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8192/8439991063_169bc04f93_o.jpg
until Paggie overheard this Malay couple who wanted tickets but didn't knew what movie they wanted, she asked them like really really fast and they were like "HUH YOU SURE AR, FREE AH!!! YES!!!" and that was when we were pronounced men and food. HAHAHHAHA no wtf.

In short, we just told them it's a random act of kindness and after that we felt sooooooooooooooo good, we just wanted to do more random acts of kindness- we wanna give chocolates, give free socks, give hugs (this I'm sure nobody would want from me HAHAHAH) anything that may seem simple to us but that makes someone happy and that was when we came up with this operation that we'll be doing for a while!

nice or not!! Background was stolen from Paggie's tumblr and fonts were edited on with Phonto. hahahahaha. Basically, we'll be doing random acts of kindness (random as in we don't know when and where we'll be doing it but we'll just do it when we feel like it) throughout a period of time. We don't know how long it's gonna be and how long it'll last , but hey, it's the thought, effort and dedication that counts right?

Maybe buying a couple a pair of movie tickets wouldn't be much, maybe buying someone lunch wouldn't be much, all that we're aiming for in this operation is leaving smiles and surprised faces on somebody random, anybody and it might just be you! (if you're in Malaysia, specifically KL that is. hahahahah)

We'll be looking forward with this 'cause I'm really really excited for this, wish us luck and may the odds be ever in your favour because who knows? The next person might just be you! (:
