I know I don't post much now (thank YOU, over-flooding assignments that never stops coming) I swear I'm so tired nowadays I even slept at 9pm last 2 weeks and last week I was so exhausted, I tried taking a nap at 5pm and ended up sleeping till the next morning. NO I DID NOT EVEN WAKE UP FOR ANY INTERVAL BREAKS TO EXCRETE OR TO EAT. See what I mean? I even SKIPPED dinner just to sleep. That's how tired I am these days ugh. I feel like some cranky old woman that has 500 fur balls in her house now wtf.
BUT WHATEVER. I am now back from doing something great around some time ago which I think Paggie and I both spammed a lot about this on Twitter and it still feels great even though before starting our RAK we had horrible dinner but that shall be for the next post for my life is so boring I have to separate a day into two just to make it seem more.... lively. Back to the point!
It's not big but it's not small either, it's not heavy, it's not light, they're hard to handle what are they?
BALLOONS, THEY BLOW!
(this was Paggie's try at being punny with the name of the RAK and my try on making "they blow" seems like it's blowing away which I failed, duuuuuuuuuuuuuh.)
unfabulous background but whatever. Pretty picture credits to Paggie.
Okay so this RAK is really really last minute. Here's the story- on one hot sweaty afternoon Amanda was too bored and suddenly thought of doing something nice. She immediately called Paggie and thought of giving away balloons. Being the chickens that we are and being bimbotic, we don't even know the price of a balloon so we called the shop, Balloon Buzz in One Utama. Before calling, we even had to push and pull and see who's gonna call because that's how chicken we are. End of story hahahaahahahaahahaha.
AWWW LOOK SO KUIT.
HAHAHAHAHA UNAMUSED BROTHER IS AUNAMUSED.
Paggie: Derp.
Why am I so fat. I sometimes amaze myself too.
Look I'm know I'm not suppose to have favourites but this girl is like my ultimate favourite that day. Mainly because her mum is so friendly and nice and she is a QT PIE OK.
The starring is so intense wtf HAHAHAHAH.
HAHAHAHA THE GIRL SO CUTE RIGHT. WHY COULDN'T I HAVE BANGS WHEN I WAS A KID.
okay lah to be honest half way giving these balloons I got quite pissed off 'cause all the people asked were:
HUH WHAT IS THIS FREE AH? Oh free then I take lah!
How much is it? Free ah? Okay take take!
"Hello there! Do you want one!" No "It's free!" Okay!!
Best part these kids first came to us so we gave them one person each, they then went back to their parents, give their parents the balloons and came back for more. ARE YOU SERIOUS. HOW GREEDY CAN YOU GET. I know I'm suppose to be nice and all but I honestly can't stand these people, you've already got yours- why can you give the other kids a chance to get one too?
Rant over. OMG QTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.
Okay I'm not gonna speak to you. Geddit geddit HAHAHAHA.
So much happiness I feel like I'm on laughing gas. But better hahahahaahahhaha.
and that was the last of it! SUPER QT PIE OMG. THESE KIDS ARE JUST SO CUTE I CAN DROWN IN THEIR CUTENESS T_____T
For this mission, I've actually told quite a lot of people about what Paggie and I did and most of them ended up asking us either we're too free or we have too much money to spend and yes, even our closest friends said that too. Maybe to some people, spending RM3.50 on a balloon and RM87.50 for 25 balloons is a lot or maybe just a waste of money but we came up with the mentality of maybe, just maybe, a balloon may not light up a family's day but what if the little girl or boy was going through a hard time? Who knows? Maybe seeing some kindness from a total stranger would brighten up their day? Maybe the little girl or boy was feeling unwell, who knows that maybe seeing something good in the society could give them hope again?
We're not asking to be on Ellen or anything like those Free the Children movement campaigns or something. We're not asking to be famous, all we ever wanted from doing these Random Acts of Kindness was just a little positiveness and a smile. Those things would be more than enough to make us the happiest people on Earth seeing that we could actually cheer someone up.
So take a minute and think, if you could bright up a person's up with just a small action that may cost you maybe just a little, would you do it? Because I would and I have already done it.
