Chad: I don't dance.
Ryan and girls: I know you can.
Chad: Not a chance, no.
Ryan: If I could do this, well, you could do that.
Chad: But I don't dance.
Ryan: Hit it out of the park!
Chad: I don't dance.
Ryan: I say you can.
Chad: There's not a chance.
Ryan and girls: Slide home, you score, swingin' on the dance floor.
Chad: I don't dance, no.
Ryan and team: Hey batter batter, hey batter batter, swing.
Chad: I've got to just do my thing.
Ryan and team: Hey batter batter, hey batter batter swing.
Chad: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Pardon me for my High School Musical obsession.

By far probably the hardest set of pictures for me to edit since it was super dark when these pictures were taken and basically because they were taken by Sze Yinn HAHAHA. No, not really.

Anyways! Big virtual hug and thank you to Sze Yinn for simply spamming pictures of me while I was playing the off-tuned ukelele for I don't know what reason while waiting for our Juliet to shed a tear for our Romeo and Juliet assignment- WHICH I might might might upload if I think it's not embarrassing and if I think that it wouldn't come haunting me when I'm 30 years old or something wtf.

I should really sleep now since it's 1:33 in the morning right now and my eyes are probably gonna be singing Alicia Keys in the morning when I put in my contact lenses. So yeah!

I am a grasshopper.

Not-so- 5 minutes S'mores brownies in a mug

Why hello there. I've been waiting for you. Well you know, just making some brownie in a mug and pretty much the usual procrastinate-all-you-can stuff. You know.. no big deal. Right?

The first time that I've learnt about microwavable food, I've always been like yeaaaaaaah sureee. I mean like, microwavable popcorn? Yeah, sure. Or like, microwavable mac n' cheese? Yeah, sure. WELL, this was not until I've learnt about  microwavable brownies or cakes in mugs and ever since then I've always been skeptical of these stuff. I mean it's practically magical. A cake which usually takes around 15 minutes of prep time and 45 to an hour for baking can be done in 5 minutes or less? It's literally magical, seriously.

So for the past couple of months, I've been making tons of these little devils (*coughs* weight-gainer *coughs*) in cups and every time a friend of mine who comes over who is hungry, I'd whipped these little babies up. Come to think of it, I've actually wanted to do a post on these things for a really long time already but I've always been like meeeeeeeeeeh, maybe they're aren't as good so today I took these things and gave them a twist to make it post-worthy (I was just actually trying to waste some time.) hurhurhur. #bloggerdedication

So here goes. Also disclaimer, this is a recipe that I've made up by myself and all measurements aren't really accurate because I am too lazy to weight them so feel free to compromise and make some twerks when you try this recipe out.

What you'll need:
(makes a serving or a mug filled with cake and magical feels)

2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
2 tablespoon of chocolate spread
2-3 pieces of graham crackers/ digestives biscuits
2 tablespoons of sugar (health cautious people, you guys can cut it down to 1 or 1 and a half (: )
1 egg
3-ish to 3 and half tablespoons of self-raising flour
2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder (I used dark chocolate powder!)
1 tablespoon of chocolate chips (can be replaced with nuts, I used walnuts!)
Some marshmallow

So first, take your 2 tablespoons of butter and combine it with 1 tablespoon of chocolate spread and mix them in a bowl. Microwave it for 20 to 30 seconds. While waiting, crush your biscuits. Then, mix your melted butter and chocolate spread mixture with all your crushed biscuits. It should look something like the picture above.

Take half of your crushed biscuits with chocolate and butter mixture and press them down at the bottom of your cup. Leave the remaining half aside.

Take another bowl and mix in your flour, sugar, cocoa powder, egg and your remaining 1 tablespoon of chocolate spread. Mix them thoroughly and leave no lumps. If it's too dry to be mixed, add in a tablespoon of water. It's suppose to be goey and thick. If it's still too dry, compromise. (I warned you!!)

Now that you've got your batter ready, add in your chocolate chips. I used walnuts instead because I like them better. Mix well.

Put in HALF of your batter and then put in your remaining crushed biscuits and chocolate and butter mixture.

(excuse me for the ugly cloth and egg shell. hurhurhur)

Put in a layer of marshmallow (this applies to the people who are using tiny marshmallows!!)
If you are using normal large marshmallow, like me, press in 3 marshmallow. After pressing in your marshmallow, top it off with the remaining of your batter. Remember to leave about a quarter of your cup empty because it is a cake after all and it WILL expand. Trust me.

Pop it in to the microwave and let it microwave for around a minute. (this also varies for many people. I like mine fairly cooked, for those who likes it goey and battery, microwave it for around 45 seconds!)

NOW SIT BACK AND ENJOY. BUT FIRST REMEMBER TO COOL DOWN THE CAKE A LITTLE FIRST OR ELSE YOU'LL END UP WITH A BURNT ROOF IN YOUR MOUTH LIKE ME.

I'm feeling sexy and freeeeeeeeee.

FOOD > HUMAN.

OKAYBAI GUISE. ENJOY. HEHEHEHEHE. MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR AND THAT CROSS YOU FINGERS THAT YOUR CAKE WOULD NOT OVER SPILL.

#photoadaymay - A Favourite Place

Sweater - Abcrcrombie & Fitch wool sweater
Purple shorts - Bugis, Singapore

Was running out of ideas to blog then as I was about to do my daily photo challenge for my Instagram, I suddenly thought of doing a post instead. So today's challenge was a post on a favourite place of mine and the first thing that actually came up to my head was Korea thanks to my obsession with Koreans, K-Pop and everything Koreany. I actually wanted to just skip today's challenge because I didn't want to succumb into just posting someone else's picture UNTIL I was in room doing what I do best which is eating and doing nothing productive, I thought- hey, I spend 80% of my free time here so this place has got to be one of the bestest place on Earth for me and one of my favourite place right hence this post. hurhurhur.

This shoot was also probably one of the funnest self-shoot I've ever did because:

a - it was air-conditioned.
b - I didn't get weird stares and looks from people who thinks I am too full of myself.
c - I didn't have to sweat.
d - It was MYYYYYYYY room.

and also because I could take as much as I wanted since it was so comfortable hahahahaahahahahaah. okay bye I now have to get back to run my errands of doing nothing.

before I forget, say hello to my photographer! (since I lost my tripod and threw my other lameshyt quality tripod away.)

AND!!! Follow me on Instagram! @amandactyan
AND NO, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST. IT IS AN ORDER. hurhur.

Photogenic

NO. NOT AT ALL. LIKE REALLY. Just no. Which is why I am yet again here, to clarify people who wonders and questions me too much up to a point which pisses me off and makes me wanna run away so I don't have to answer. hurhur.

"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS TAKE PICTURES LIKE THAT!! CAN YOU SMILE PROPERLY?!!?"

honestly honey, I can't and I never will. Unless I camho myself because I have came up with a theory ever since last year that by making derpy faces you can:

- make people confuse
- you are and will probably be the coolest
- deeeeeeeerp
- you wouldn't come off looking as fake with the fake smile!! (admit it, everybody fake smiles for pictures!!)
- you are awesome
- people can't tell it's either your face that is ugly or your expression that is making your face ugly thus making people think that it's probably the expression.

See how I highlighted the last one in case you skipped it which you obviously did. Yes, that is the new #amandalogic theory and I bet all you people who wants to piss me off are gonna question me it's effectiveness AND THAT IS WHY I AM HERE TODAY TO PROVE IT TO YOU!! (and yes I am dead serious about this because for all you know, I might have saved an innocent soul from the haunting of ugly fake smiling Facebook pictures and have awesome derp pictures instead to show their future kids.)

DO YOU GET ME NOW?! Do you notice how derp I am in pictures?! Always has done me well and have never ever failed me once. Therefore I AM THE LIVING PROOF TO THE NEW THEORY OF #AMANDALOGIC that by being a derp is actually real good to you and your face and your pictures and you don't have to put effort into actually fake smiling. yay!
boom boom pow pow fireworks.

NEVER FAILED ME ONCE. NEVER.

"Wonders of the younger"

Dress - Bugis, Singapore
Knitted cardigan - Beijing, China
Bird with flowers headband - Hatyai, Thailand
Neon necklace - Diva (thanks, Alice!)
Sneakers - Converse

Oh you know, just sneaking into a part of the car park which I pass by everyday which no one is probably allowed in since the door that I snuck was dwarf size and setting a tripod and running back and forth from the camera to on the timer while constantly sweating thanks to the extreme Malaysian heat wave. Yeap, pretty much the norm to me now.

(psst! Wrote the place where I bought some of the stuff from instead of the brand as they're brandless!)
