PS: Oh how much I've missed short updates like these aka I can be even lazier aka my life would be even more perfect.

Stay tuned for all the extra super duper so super overdue travel posts that I will solemnly swear I would post before this year ends!!

What to do on airplanes

Hello guys, as I am typing this, I am mid-air flying back from Hong Kong to Malaysia. And to prove this to you (okay this is just an excuse to take a picture of the sky actually) here's a picture of me view right now on my right.

So HAVE YOU EVER FELT BORED ON PLANE RIDES???
HAVE YOU EVER FELT LIKE GOING TO PEE BUT YOU'RE TOO LAZY TO GET UP CAUSE YOU'RE ALL SNUGGLY IN YOUR BUTT-WARMED SEAT???
HAVE YOU EVER FELT LIKE YOLOING AND SITTING THROUGH A PLANE RIDE WITHOUT SLEEPING???

Look no further CAS here's Amanda's guide-to to things to do during plane rides!! *cues fireworks*

First off start by telling your posse of what's happening.

Do this for about 20 minutes until the hot (depending on your luck) flight attendant comes and ask you for the third time to put away your phone.

Now here's the tricky part, you MAY think that you're supposed to put your phone away BUT NO!! This is where your ninja skills come out and you still secretly continue using your phone.

Next, you now whip out your kick-ass jam. 🎧

Yes, I use Soundcloud because I don't know how to download songs into the music player. Yes, this is my jam. DON'T JUDGE ME.

AND NOW COMES THE FUN PART. Since you're mid-air, probably around with an altitude of 39000feet and outside being -57C degrees, you obviously need to camwhore to your heart's content. I MEAN THAT'S WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT ISN'T IT?!

Since I'm the kindest person alive, if you're lost and don't know how to pose, here's some of my go-to poses!!

OKAY SO YOU GET THE IDEA!!!

AND NOW COMES THE EVEN FUNNER PART!!

SOME CALL IT EDITING SOME CALL IT PHOTOSHOP SOME CALL IT FAKE SOME CALL IT *INSERTS WHATEVER IT'S CALLED*

But I call it Enhancing and I "enhance" these pictures with Photowonder! Props to the person who came up with this amazing invention wtf.

HAVE YOU EVER WANNA LOOK LIKE A KOREAN?! PHOTOWONDER IS THE SOLUTION THEN!!

EVER WANNA PUT MAKE-UP BUT YOU'RE TOO LAZY OR YOU JUST SUCK IN IT LIKE ME?! PHOTOWONDER IS THE SOLUTION THEN!!

*bet you can't tell me fake eyeliner and blush apart* HAHAHAHA.

EVER WANNA LOOK LIKE YOU JUST REALLY LOVE CHEESE AND HAVE EYEBROWS?! PHOTOWONDER IS THE SOLUTION THEN!!

MOUSTACHE??? PHOTOWONDER IS THE SOLUTION THEN!!

NOW COMES THE BESTEST PART OF ALL!!

YES, JUST COLLEGE ALL OF THEN UP BECAUSE YOU CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH OF YOURSELF YAY!

LASTLY, make an album for all your masterpieces and blog it all out so people can enjoy it too wtf HAHAHAHAHA.

So ya basically just waste your life away by camwhoring instead of getting the just needed sleep back HAHA.

PS: I think this is just a sad excuse for me to post all my selfies but das ok. Here's one more because there's no such thing as an Amanda limit.

PPS: Stalk your stranger neighbour whole you're at it too.

Expired travel diary: Penang, Malaysia pt. 2

My favouritest pictures of us during our Heritage Walk so this deserves to go first, yay!

I ACTUALLY WENT OVER THE DRAIN TO TAKE THIS OK!! #dedication

Hello there, Er Er Er Yen.

*ques love quote to make this picture Insta/Tumblr/Pinterest/ Flickr/ some weird social pictures sharing website- worthy*

Better? Better.

PRETTY POLEEEEEE.
This actually looked too pretty to actually be real and that it actually look like it's a back setting wtf.

SO PRETTY THAT IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE A LEGIT PHOTOSHOOT RIGHT!!!

This was actually a painting of the kid pulling a super cute dinosaur but it faded already ):

Apparently this picture was based on the local shoe maker or something, super cool right!!

Neon cut out overall - Zara
Floral shades - Perfectpiecee (look for them on insta!)
Statement neon necklace - Juju*Milky (look for them on Facebook!)
Bandage sandals - Cotton On

Edited all of these within an hour right after I landed! Pretty impressive I must say hehe. Just realized that we took more photos than I actually would so gonna separate it into 3 or 4 posts in total! Feeling super productive and have been drafting and editing a lot lately which is a good thing for me!

Summer ends in less than 3 days for me. Gonna use it all up productively and make myself not regret! Yay!

Also! Link to first part is here - http://nineteen-ninetyseven.blogspot.com/2013/06/expired-travel-diary-penang-malaysia-pt.html?m=1

Expired travel diary: Penang, Malaysia pt. 1

Dear Unicorn Creation Enterprise, I'd like to buy all your foosball tables because you have the best company name, ever.

this photo deserves the caption "Help me! I'm trapped but I'm looking really happy, help!"

"Me with artsy fartsy wall"

"Me and me friend with circular wall hole thing"

"Oh you know, just me being a poser with paper cranes hanging out from no where. Nothing much."

*inserts emo quote*
“The higher you build the walls around your heart.
The harder you fall when someone breaks them down.”

Spot the similarities!

Pretty much rounds up a quarter of the second day when I was in Penang! Penang is always named as the number 1 place to go for food in Malaysia and it always does it's name justice every single time I go  there for a foodie trip! I guess Penang is just one of those place that a Malaysia MUST go or else they can just crap themselves or something? Hahahaha, I don't know about you but say hello to falsetto in three, two, swag.

During my three days and two nights stay in Penang, we stayed in the Batu Ferringhi area and we headed out early in the morning to the other side of the island (correct me if I'm wrong?), Georgetown thanks to my 328.9km away tourguide, Wan Chi! Our first stop was Chinahouse and I must admit that the food wasn't actually what I expected it to be and it wasn't really the best but whoever that thought of the design and concept of the place deserves five thumbs up wtf. The place was literally like four or five places within a place?! Mind blowing, I know. The food tho was super expensive but let's just think that you're paying it as an entrance fee to get mind blown and to take pictures. HAHAHAH.

Originally decide that I'll blog the whole trip within a post but since I didn't have time to edit all of them in a shot and since I'm always running out of ideas, I'm gonna separate it into 2 or 3 posts, depending on my effectiveness (laziness, actually.) Also, I still owe you guys the Singapore and Beijing posts.

HAHAHAHABYE. #sorrynotsorry

PS: I now wonder how the paper cranes survive in a rain since there's no roof above them, wtf.
